The sanctions and penalties that can be applied to the doctor, as established by Law No. 3,268/1957, are diverse. They include confidential warning in a reserved notice, confidential censure in a reserved notice, public censorship in an official publication, suspension of professional practice for up to 30 days and, in extreme cases, revocation of professional practice, ad referendum of the Federal Council.
It depends on some circumstances, but in general, the standard deadline for presenting a judicial defense is 15 working days, while administrative ones have deadlines such as 15 calendar days for an appeal against a CRM/CRO inquiry and a 30 calendar day deadline for prior defense in the PEP.
